What we collect about your family, why, and exactly how your child's fingerprint data is handled. Written to be read, not just filed.
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Genius Code Mapping ("we," "us," "our") provides fingerprint-based learning-style assessments for children in Singapore. This policy explains what personal data we collect from you and your child, why we collect it, and how it's protected — in plain language, because a privacy policy nobody can actually read isn't much of a policy.
We collect the minimum needed to prepare your child's report, arrange appointments, and follow up with you:
What we deliberately don't collect: your NRIC or any government ID, your home address, or your child's exact date of birth. Our rule of thumb: if we can't explain out loud why we need a piece of information, we don't ask for it.
Fingerprints are biometric data — unlike a password, your child can never change them. We designed our process around that fact specifically:
Our analysis partner processes the scan under this same de-linked reference system. We are in the process of confirming their exact data retention practice in writing, and we'll update this policy — and tell you directly if you ask — the moment we have it in hand. If you'd like the most current answer on this specific point, just ask us on your discovery call or by email.
We don't sell or share your family's details with anyone, for any purpose. The only party that ever touches your child's fingerprint data is our analysis partner, and only under the de-linked reference-ID system described above.
Every field we ask for exists to prepare your child's report, arrange your appointments, deliver your report, and — only if you'd like — send occasional follow-ups or our monthly parenting note. We never use your details for anything beyond what's needed to serve your family well.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what data we hold about your family, correct anything that's wrong, or delete your records entirely. Just email hello@geniuscodemapping.com and we'll action it promptly.
By booking a discovery call or scan appointment with us, you consent to Genius Code Mapping collecting the details above to prepare your child's report, arrange appointments, and send occasional follow-ups. Your details are never sold or shared, and your child's fingerprint data is stored only against an anonymous reference ID.
If anything here is unclear, or you'd like more detail on exactly how your family's data is handled, message us on WhatsApp or email hello@geniuscodemapping.com. We'd rather over-explain this than have you wonder.
If our data practices change, we'll update this page and reflect a new "last updated" date above.
